SQL Server: How to change default path of physical MDF and LDF Files while creating database

When you install SQL Server say version 2014, the default path of physical MDF and LDF files would be "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL12.SQL2014\MSSQL\DATA". To change this default path to some other path you should

Right Click on the server - Click Properties - Click Database Settings - Specify path under Data and Log provision provided as shown below.
